THE SOCIETY
The European Society of CardioVascular Surgery (ESCVS) was founded May 31st, 1951, in the city of Turin, Italy, with statutes in Strasbourg, France, under the name of “Société Européenne de Chirurgie CardioVasculaire”.
EDUCATION
We are dedicated in providing educational opportunities to residents and young cardiac and vascular surgeons. Every year ESCVS would organized Summer and Winter School by the very experienced team of vascular and cardiovascular surgeons.
MEMBERSHIP
The European Society of Cardiovascular Cardiology introduced the status (title) “Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology” (FESC) in 1988, as an honorary recognition offered to its most prominent members.
ANNUAL CONGRESS
As your hosts, we will provide you with interesting scientific program enriched with educational workshops, scientific lectures related to both clinical problems and scientific topics. The Annual Congress is organized on behalf of the ESCVS by a Local Organising Committee.
CONSTITUTION
The objects of our Society are: to promote the investigation and study of the art, science and therapy of cardiac and vascular disease, to coordinate this knowledge and to disseminate it. We facilitate the exchange of ideas in the field of cardiac and vascular diseases through scientific meetings.
OPPORTUNITIES
We are searching for the best work from Young Surgeons! Best papers will be awarded with money award. If you are 35 years old or younger and if you would like to enter a competition by presenting your abstract at Special Young Investigator Competition Session, you may gain extra award.
We define programs for the Resident Forum session
With almost organize fellowships in open and endovascular surgery, and in some specific topics of cardiac surgery. Members of the EC and active members of Society who are leading surgeons in their hospitals should provide fellowship or junior members of Society.

Our junior committee organize junior members in a more active way, and increase the number of junior members to have a basic, current list of junior members, and follow results in the future.
Define the program
One of the most responsibillity of junior committe is to define a program for the Resident Forum session. Referents for this goal are Igor Koncar from vascular, and Ruslan Lazarev from cardiac side.

Constitution & Membership
Promote
the investigation and study of the art, science and therapy of cardiac and vascular disease.
Co-ordinate
this knowledge and to disseminate it.
Facilitate
the exchange of ideas in the field of cardiac and vascular diseases through scientific meetings and by personal contact between cardiac and vascular specialist.
Admission
to membership of the Society shall be in accordance with the By-Laws procedures.
All members
of the Society shall pay dues and assessment.
Any member
who has complied with all the requirements of the Constitution and By-Laws during his membership may resign by written notification to the Secretary-General
